Waverly Heights is on the eastern portion of Los Feliz and is adjacent to Los Feliz Knolls. Three water features are found in this area; Rowena Reservoir, Mulholland Fountain and the municipal swimming pool on Riverside Drive. Griffith Park Tennis Courts and Soccer field are located here as well.

Waverly Heights is bounded by Los Feliz Boulevard to the north, Hyperion Avenue to the south, Rowena Ave and Griffith Park Blvd to the west and Riverside Drive and the 5 Freeway to the east.
