The UCLA Neighborhood is roughly bounded by Veteran Ave to the west, Sunset Blvd to the north, Hilgard and Malcolm Ave on the east and Santa Monica Blvd on the south. This neighborhood is walkable to the UCLA campus and is home to Veteran Park, a huge green space offering tennis, baseball, basketball & soccer facilities, plus a playground & dog park.

Aside from the campus, the nearest services are in Westwood Village, just south of campus. There are lots of restaurants, movie theaters, clothing, and convenience stores. Four supermarkets are conveniently located in Westwood: on Le Conte Avenue, Gayley Avenue, Glendon Avenue, and Westwood Boulevard at Ohio Avenue.

The majority of this area is multi-family however there are single family homes scattered throughout, mostly south of Wilshire.
