Trianon, built in 1965, is located along Pasadena's storied Millionaire's Row. Bob Ray Offenhauser's Trianon blends elements of Late Regency, with subtle hints of New Formalism and Neoclassical design. Offenhauser's ability to maximize space through volume, height, and width is evident throughout these residences.

The footprint of the complex and its formal gardens follow the tenets of quadrangle landscape architecture and pay homage to eighteenth-century designers such as Ange-Jaques Gabriel. Rather than having a straight path down the center of the complex, the Trianon's brick clad walkways and diamond-shaped raised planter beds are designed to invoke thought and conversation. Offenhauser brings the same designs into the interiors.
