The Geffen, built in 2017, is located in Melrose Village at the cross section of Hollywood, Hancock Park and West Hollywood. This incredible location provides for an abundance of unique shopping, dining and entertainment venues.
The Geffen encompass six two-story buildings, each containing two residential units, that take up an entire block consciously designed to create a “village-like” feel. The exterior of these 3-bedroom duplexes are dominated by 13 feet tall by 12 feet wide facade's of glazing and over-scaled tiles. The treatment brings a clean industrial feel to the outside and breaks up the large floor-to-ceiling windows that make up the rest of the street-facing exterior. The addition of corrugated metal panels painted a bold and fresh acid green complements the vitreous texture of glass and tile. The duplexes are wood-framed constructed and are arranged in 3-bedroom layouts with the primary living quarters positioned on the second floor. With each building having its own key tile feature, and separate private entries, each unit of the duplex has an unique self identity.
Amenities include controlled access and secure parking.
