Los Feliz Square is on the western side of Los Feliz and includes some of the businesses along Vermont and Hollywood Blvd. The area features Barnsdall Art Park, the site of the Hollyhock House, Los Angeles’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Los Feliz Square is bordered by Hollywood Blvd to the south, Vermont Ave to the east, Los Feliz Boulevard to the north, and by Normandie Avenue, Ambrose Ave, and Edgemont St to the west. North of Franklin, Los Feliz Square is comprised of two sections: Los Feliz Square Single-Family Residential Historic District and Los Feliz Square Multi-Family Residential Historic District.

Los Feliz Square is dotted with Spanish Colonial, Tudor and other period-style homes. At least two homes have been declared city historic cultural monuments; the A.P. Carter Residence at 5020 W Ambrose Ave and the J.W. Blank Residence on 1950 N Edgemont St, a former home of pioneering ceramics educator Laura Andreson.
