The French Chateau is a classic French Normandy style building located in Koreatown close to Hancock Park. Built in 1937 and restored in 2007, this architectural building was built by Arlos Sedgley, Architect and is listed as Los Angeles Cultural Monument #81.

The units at The French Chateau feature original Art Deco light fixtures, hardwood plank floors, and crown moldings. Kitchen features original cabinetry and handsome European stainless steel appliances. The spacious baths, with original tile work is characterized by subtly coved ceilings and cabinetry tinged with a French Moderne style.  The building systems have been updated, the units have central air & heat, and a washer/dryer.
