Lower Casiano, sometimes called Lower Bellagio, is located north of Moraga Drive off Sepulveda Boulevard on the west and up along Casiano Dr on the east. This lower Bel Air neighborhood encompasses homes along the southern section of Casiano Drive and two small side streets, Montego Drive and Acanto Place.
This intimate community of primarily California ranch style homes is just steps from the Getty Museum. This community of 111 homes feature wonderful views of the Getty, mountains and ocean. The neighborhood has a quiet charm of its own, featuring large, old oak and maple trees on many lots. Most westerly facing homes enjoy panoramas of the Getty Center, and higher elevation properties on both sides of the street often boast peek-a-boo views of the city and ocean to the south.
At the end of Casiano, the Sepulveda Fire Road extends into Getty View Park. Residents are welcome to use this 'trail' for recreational activities including hiking and bicycling. The dirt road runs along the ridge and connects Lower Casiano with the gated Bel Air Crest community to the north.
